New this season ATV racing, stidded & non-studded.  Great opening day, alot of spectators and 21 RWD non-studded cars.  Studded classes were a bit low, hope to pick up a few more next week.

This is the RWD Studded "Outlaw" class.  This the fastest car class on ice.  They will turn the fastest laps and run the quickest heats and features.  With 6 cars in this class on opening day and a few more coming, this is well worth the trip to Cecil Bay, on Shawano Lake...

FWD Non-Studded HEat Race Action...

Caroline Valley Ice Racing puts on a great show just below the hill from the Legion Hall on the Caroline Pond.  Week 3 FWD Non-Studded feature action coming out of turn 4.

FWD Non-Studded feature drivers head out of turn two down the backstrech to start the race.  The "Media" race consisted of three dirt drivers, six asphalt drivers and three media drivers.  Again this year this special race was won by a dirt driver, Jeremie Hedrick is a current WISSOTA Late Model pilot.

Red River Racing Team is a local vintage race team located in Shawano County.  Grandpa Dale the elder of the group took 5th at the Vintage Weekend and First the following weekend during Derby Weekend.  Sean one of youngsters on the team took a second at Weyawega weekend.
