EAA Airventure 2011 on Friday 7-29-11 Highlight was the performance by Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan's Band!

Gary Sinise from CSI New York performs with his band Lt. Dan's Band in reference to his character form the movie Forrest Gump.  He and his band perform with great emotion as two of the members are Vietnam Veterans.  He does incredible work with the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and his own foundation The Gary Sinise Foundation and a special memorial for the Firefighter, EMS Personel and Policemen that were lost in the attack on the United States on 9-11-01.  Check It Out At   www.brooklynwall.us
Symco Shakedown 8-13-11

Symco Shakedown is in it's third year and keeps getting bigger every year!  It is a car show for traditional Hot Rods with a lot of Rock-a-Billy bands, 50's music, Pin-Up Girl contest, mini-bike drags and a ton of fun.  All held in the made up world of old time Unionville in the little town of Symco, Wisconsin.  www.symcoshakedown.com 

Nick's Ride To Remember DAY 9-10-11

SGT. Nick Mueller was killed in action defending all of our freedoms.  He is honored annually with this charity ride, Nick's Ride To Remember, with proceeds going to his favorite charities.  This year the weather was perfect with temps. in the lower 80s and not a cloud in the sky.  With a total of about 170 bike taking part, a good time was had by all.  Thank You to the 5th Quarter for hosting the event,  The Cotton Patch for suppling lunch and River Rail for hosting the final pit stop on the way back to Little Chute. 

Nick's Ride To Remember Night 9-10-11

The benifit ended at the 5th Quarter in Little Chute with dinner, bake sale, a ton of bucket raffle and silent auction items and entertainment was provided by Half Empty...
Some Nature Stuff

I had never seen one of these till this summer.  They are called Humming Bird Moths.  We were fontunate enough to have them hang around for a couple months this summer so I was able to get some pretty good shots.  There is also some other nature photos from the past couple of months. 
Colorama 2011 Sat. 10-1-11

Colorama in Caroline, Wisconsin is held every year the first weekend of October.  It is a four day charity trail ride this year held Thurs. Sept. 29 through Sunday Oct. 2 with the proceeds going to the local Lions Club.  The weather on Sat. was awesome, highs in the 60s and not a cloud in the sky!  www.carolinelionscolorama.com
Horsin' Around Richmond 10-8-11 Set #1 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Horsin' Around Richmond Riders holds a charity trail ride every October to benifit a local family or group.  This year was another beautiful string of three days with cloudless days with highs in the upper 70s lower 80s and mild nights!
